Terms and conditions of sale

Translation provided for convenience — the French version prevails. In force from 3 October 2026.

1. Seller

Mr Thomas Verdier, sole trader, trading as MyPALbox, SIRET 912 026 077 00012, 73 rue Victor Hugo, 59160 Lomme, France, e-mail contact@mypalbox.com, phone +33 6 71 45 27 15. VAT not applicable, art. 293 B of the French General Tax Code.

2. Scope

These terms govern sales made on mypalbox.com between MyPALbox and any individual acting for non-professional purposes (“the customer”). They prevail over any other document. The customer accepts them by ticking the box provided before payment.

3. Items

MyPALbox sells custom storage cases, covers and labels for video game cartridges, made to order in Lille, France. They are unofficial fan creations, not affiliated with Nintendo, The Pokémon Company or the game publishers; they are meant to customise or replace the case or label of a game the customer already owns. Games are never included.

Photos show the real items; colours and holographic effects may vary depending on the screen and lighting, and from one copy to another (handmade items).

4. Prices

Prices are shown in euros (or in the chosen currency, as displayed), VAT not applicable (art. 293 B of the French General Tax Code). Shipping costs are shown before the order is confirmed. For deliveries outside the European Union, customs duties, import taxes or clearance fees may be charged by the destination country; they are payable by the customer.

5. Order

The customer chooses the items and their options (finish, label language), the delivery method, checks the summary and pays. A confirmation e-mail summarises the order. The contract is concluded upon receipt of payment.

6. Payment

Immediate payment by card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Link or Bancontact (via Stripe). MyPALbox never has access to the customer’s bank details.

7. Production and delivery

Items are made to order and shipped within 1 to 3 business days. Methods offered depending on the country and the basket: letter, tracked letter, pick-up point or locker (Mondial Relay, Chronopost Shop2Shop), home delivery. Indicative delivery times after shipping: France 2–4 business days; European Union 3–8 days; rest of the world 5–20 days.

For pick-up point or locker delivery, the customer chooses the point when ordering and must collect the parcel within the time indicated by the carrier. A parcel that is not collected and is returned may be re-sent at the customer’s expense.

In the event of a significant delay, the customer may terminate the contract under the conditions of article L.216-6 of the French Consumer Code.

8. Right of withdrawal

The customer has 14 days from receipt to withdraw, without giving any reason (art. L.221-18 of the French Consumer Code), by e-mail to contact@mypalbox.com or using the form below. The item must be returned new, not stuck on and in its packaging, within 14 days of the decision; return costs are paid by the customer. MyPALbox refunds all sums paid, including the initial shipping costs (on the basis of the cheapest method offered), within 14 days of the withdrawal, and at the latest upon receipt of the returned item.

Exception: the right of withdrawal does not apply to items made to the customer’s specifications or clearly personalised (art. L.221-28, 3°) — for example a cover or label made on special request.

Model form: “To MyPALbox, 73 rue Victor Hugo, 59160 Lomme, France, contact@mypalbox.com: I hereby give notice that I withdraw from my contract for the sale of the following item: order no. …, received on …, name, address, date, signature (if on paper).”

9. Warranties

Items benefit from the legal guarantee of conformity (art. L.217-3 et seq. of the French Consumer Code, 2 years from delivery) and the guarantee against hidden defects (art. 1641 et seq. of the French Civil Code). If an item arrives damaged or does not match the order, the customer writes to contact@mypalbox.com with a photo: MyPALbox offers a replacement or a refund.
